    My best advice on activities for 2am is sleeping, sleeping, and sleeping. I’ve learned that at that age, they have no real physical needs in the middle of the night. It may take a week or more, but letting them cry it out in the night is really the best thing in the long run. At least it’s helped my kiddos learn to sleep and me to keep my sanity. One of my kiddos was stubborn, but my headphones with some soothing music really did the trick.

      Hey Tina! I wrote this post a while ago, and since then, we’ve actually made some great strides on the sleeping front. We did some “crying it out,” and while it was probably the hardest thing we’ve ever had to endure (way harder on us than him, I’m sure), it’s definitely helped all three of us get some more sleep.

      You’re oh so wise! Thanks for the tip from a seasoned mom.

    I think that a kid that cute must have at least some evil in him. It’s a trade-off. But good for you two for keeping up your healthy life as much as you can.
