Recipe: Healthier Mashed Potatoes

It starts this week; the holiday food bonanza is about to attack your waistline! But don’t worry, because we’re all over it. We have a registered dietician on our staff, and she’s determined to give you a series of recipes that will provide all the taste of the traditional holiday favorites, but without all the calories.

Healthier Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes don’t have to be loaded up with cream and butter to taste great. Take advantage of the natural creaminess of potatoes.Here’s one recipe to trim up the calories in mashed potatoes. You can also ramp up the flavor by adding fresh herbs, spices, and other flavor enhancers such as sweet roasted garlic.
